“Of course you know who the Doctor is,” muttered Claudia under her breath, rolling her eyes. “Surprise! I’m with the Doctor. Safe and sound.”

“Oh. Oh! Oh, no missy, you are not safe with the Doctor. No one is safe with the Doctor. EVER! That is a dangerous man and you will get yourself KILLED if you stay with him. Get back to the warehouse now.”
“God, Artie, you’re such a downer,” whined Claudia. “You’re totally ruining 15th century Transylvania for me.” 

“Fifteenth…century…you’re in Transylvania? Why?” “I dunno,” shrugged Claudia, batting the Doctor’s hands off her gear. “It sounded awesome. Transylvania, that’s where the cool stuff is.”

“I want you in front of me. In the warehouse. In five minutes. Do I make myself clear?”

“Five minutes on the dot,” interrupted the Doctor, saluting Artie and closing the Farnsworth before Claudia or Artie had a chance to protest. He turned to grin at her and started off again. Claudia stared at his retreating back with her mouth hanging open.

“Dude! Five minutes doesn’t get us time to do-” The Doctor turned back and tapped his nose. “Time machine.” A slow grin made its way onto Claudia face. “Ah, ok…I get it. Very cleaver.” The Doctor waited until Claudia caught up before responding. “My middle name.”
